President for 2008/09 - George Bowes

George Bowes has been with Wellman Hunt-Graham Ltd. since 1987 (when it was Wellman Graham) and is Engineering Director and is also responsible for development and commercialisation of new technologies associated with waste management and renewable energy. Previously he had been responsible for overseeing design, drafting, welding engineering and technological development of company products on a day to day basis. Before moving into manufacturing George was Heat Transfer Section Head at John Brown Engineers and Constructors and prior to that Section Manager for the Analytical Section of M.W.Kellogg in Houston. In his spare time he is a member of the Review Panel for the HTFS TASC Program and also Course Director for the Centre for Professional Advancement on Heat Exchanger Design, Repair and Maintenance.
